Odisha plans 20 hospitals under PPP mode

first_imgThe Odisha government on Friday announced its decision to set up 20 hospitals through public-private partnership mode, which would create an additional 2,700 beds in the State.In what is being touted as the one of the country’s biggest private investments in the health sector, the State government is looking to mobilise ₹1,000 crore. Under the State’s affordable health project, these hospitals will be opened under the ‘hub and spoke’ model. CM Naveen Patnaik has approved the construction in Puri, Jeypore, Angul, Barbil, Baripada, Bhadrak, Balangir, Jharsuguda, Bhawanipatna, Phulbani, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kendrapara, Rairangpur, Rayagada, Paralakhemundi, Nabarangpur and Subarnapur.last_img
