Various Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network Athletes Compete At BYU Autumn Classic

first_img FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailPROVO, Utah-Saturday, numerous athletes representing Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network schools competed at the 2019 BYU Autumn Classic, showcasing their skills against the best runners in the state representing all UHSAA classifications.For the girls, Lone Peak won the team title, netting 66 points. Richfield’s girls placed 32nd overall with 950 points and Manti placed 35th with 1,044 points.American Fork’s boys won the team crown with 125 points. Richfield’s boys placed 23rd, leading the way for Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network schools at the race, with 601 points. Juab placed 34th with 899 points and North Sanpete finished 36th with 1,066 points. Manti placed 39th with 1,140 points and Millard finished 40th with 1,232 points, rounding out the participation of Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network schools at the event.The girls’ individual champion is Carlee Hansen of Woods Cross, who posted a time of 18:45.10. The highest placing Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network girl was Millard’s Katy Kelly who finished 23rd (19:45.50). Taylia Norris of Panguitch placed 25th (19:52.30) and Kinley Spaulding of Milford placed 45th (20:19.40).Audrey Camp of Millard placed 57th (20:38.80) and Ashley Lagat of Wasatch Academy placed 61st (20:40.20). Tamsin Stewart of North Sanpete placed 150th (22:13.00), Jamie Holt of Richfield placed 161st overall (22:21.50) and her teammate, Nora Foster, finished 165th overall (22:31.30).Juab’s Whitlee Rosquist placed 167th overall (22:34.70), North Sanpete’s Madelyn Christensen finished 179th (22:44.00) and Manti’s Keltsy Fowles placed 180th overall (22:45.50).Rachael Jones of North Sanpete placed 205th overall (23:31.50) and Cambree Olsen of Juab placed 223rd overall (24:14.70) while Khari Cox of Millard finished 234th overall (24:42.80).Melissa Crane of Richfield finished 235th overall (24:45.30) while Manti’s Bethany Christensen (25:01.00) and Savannah Withers (25:16.90) placed 237th and 239th overall, respectively.Richfield’s Karlee Thomas (25:27.10), Hannah Steele (25:29.50) and Elena Torgersen (25:31.70) placed 242nd through 244th. McKenna Alger of Richfield placed 247th (25:37.00) and Manti’s Alice Grover (26:34.60), Isabella Knudsen (26:54.00) and Josie Howick (27:11.60) finished 254th-256th, rounding out all participation for Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network athletes.American Fork’s Ashton Hysell placed first overall individually for the boys, in a time of 15:47.00. The highest-placing boys’ Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network athlete was Wasatch Academy’s Christopher Korir, who placed 8th (16:03.70).Richfield’s Hayden Harward placed 30th overall (16:35.00).
